“We have been going to Analise Hagstrom since our daughter was 4 months old and refused to eat. She was born in the 92nd percentile and by 4 months she was under 20th percentile. Her percentile consistently dropping. No other doctor took her weight loss seriously, getting told things like ‘she will eat when she is hungry’ even though she was crying all the time from hunger but refused to eat. Analise stepped up, and not only did she take her silent reflux more seriously than other doctor’s and put her on the meds she needed to be on, she also diagnosed her with a milk intolerance that was missed because there wasn’t blood in her stool per textbook. She saved our daughter from a feeding tube. Due to my daughter’s eating issues, sleepless nights, and constant worry and fear about her health I (the mother) ended up with very bad post partum anxiety and depression. I kept trying to get doctors’ attention, but no one listened until Analise. She was very responsive when we needed her over mychart. She also provided comfort and confidence and empathy that helped us as parents relax. We finally felt heard.”

“If you are reading this, your child may be struggling with GI issues, including lack of weight gain (“failure to thrive” – such a horribly named diagnosis!) or wanting to be tube free. We tried EVERYTHING, but our daughter’s oral aversion due to her many surgeries and hospital time early on was hard to overcome. Moreover, we were pumping her with so much liquid (milk) that she was throwing up constantly, so of course she couldn’t gain weight. We tried every kind of medicine, but some made her throw up even more. Until we met Analise. Analise was incredibly practical and took the time to understand our daughter’s complete (and incredibly complicated!) medical history. With her support, we cut back on our daughter’s milk so our daughter could finally be hungry, and actually gain more weight because she wasn’t throwing up as much because we were pumping her with less fluid. Analise was available for any questions and always responded promptly. After multiple trials with other (expensive) tube weaning programs and GI doctors, we finally had a person who was dedicated to meeting our goals for our daughter and available to help guide and support us. Our daughter is now thriving off the tube, with some medicine support that Analise suggested (which has been so helpful). Our daughter is running around off the tube with her friends at school and thriving physically. We are so grateful for Analise’s support and guidance, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.”
